1、蒸汽锅炉生火之前,应检查各阀门水管、汽管、压力表、安全阀、水位表、排污阀等是否处在完好状态。

2、蒸汽锅炉用水要经软化处理,并保持清洁,不准含有油脂。

3、水位表的玻璃管外应装置坚固的防护罩,外部应保持清洁.每班应冲洗一次,察看水位表里的水面是否能迅速上升或下降。如在运行时看见水位表内有水面呆滞不跳动,应立即查明原因,防止形成假水位。
